Behind the Curtain

As a Senior at Hampton University, I’ve had to adopt and cultivate new skills as to benefit myself and my craft. My most valuable and consistent asset is my storytelling ability and adaptability that I've strengthened throughout my scholastic, personal, and professional career.
I’ve had experience in front of and behind the camera, written scripts and recorded footage professionally and for school.
I have used these opportunities to propel myself to where I am today as a Scripps Howard journalism major at Hampton University. I’ve spent my time there learning how to write for different print, online, television, radio and social media platforms. I’ve practiced different marketing strategies and have worked with and mentored under media professionals in various fields.
I have a tremendous passion for storytelling through different media platforms and look forward to working with different professionals in the field.
